    Weeelllll, not exactly, but if you are driving an eVehicle with a range extender, you might get to walk for a can of, gasp, shock, gasoline.

    I drove a BMW i3rx for two years, loved the linear torque when you put the hammer down. Hated watching the AC drop the range. A lot! It was worse in the winter when the heater really sucks the power! Better batteries, not just chemically based, but LENR based, are needed. I'm not sure I'll live to see them a reality, but that's the only thing that can make electrical vehicles practical. Otherwise, figure Houston-Dallas then a 1.5 hr charge to make the return trip, if you can find a high ampere charger. Otherwise, try 4 hours.

    Micro fission reactors (needs to be compact, think car engine size), last a long time, runs off of expended nuclear fuel... forget the battery, get a nuke and make the democrat heads EXPLODE!! :laughing:
