I'm not going to get into a religious debate with you because it's prohibited and I've been told not to by the moderation team, but is your aversion to homosexuality religious in nature or just because it's gross to you?

By the way the head of the Republican party on the county level in the 70s and 80s in one of the most conservative counties in Texas was my dad's best friend and also gay as a crooked arrow. He also was a political science professor at a prestigious university and highly conservative.

In '05 or '06, a researcher noted that it seemed every time there was a major development in AIDS research, there was a spike in the infection rate.
However, to be fair, one must note that it is not just the LBG community that does not practice safe sex as the CDC has noted an increase in STDs in general in the last two years. The real question is whether it is ignorance or apathy?
