Bought it Monday evening, received it today, shoot it tomorrow! Springfield Ronin 4.25” in .45 ACP. Feels good in the hand, trigger is good! Slide is tight and smooth. Off to the Range tomorrow morning and if all goes well I’ll run 200 rounds of 230gr FMJ thru it. Then 8 or 10 rounds Federal Punch JHP’s, to make sure it cycles them.

I ordered a couple of revolvers at the NRAAM. I'll post pics when they arrive. According to the guy in the booth, that might be months but it'll happen eventually.

I thought about ordering a Chiappa 9mm competition model. It's a DAO and one of the best factory DA triggers I've ever encountered on a factory gun. But the waitlist is 12 months, minimum, so I demurred.

By any chance did you get eyes on that new .22 revolver from Colt?

I didn't. Colt was almost the last booth I stopped at and if they had had it front and center, I would have been all over it. As it was, I saw one rack of ARs, a lot of Pythons, a few other snakes, and that was all. If was very low-key and smaller than I expected from a booth by a major name.
