No different than a lost package then, right? File a claim and get reimbursed. So sick of these woke companies
This is way more egregious than lost packages. They are clearly stating that they are going to destroy private property.

“Please note that any package found in the UPS system determined to have been tendered by GHOST FIREARMS may be seized and destroyed,” the letter states.

Unless I'm mistaken, that's criminal act. Given the possible amount of property, I'd even venture it being a felony.

When the package is lost and not delivered to you, who actually gets reimbursed, the shipper or the receiver? I believe it is the shipper.

Assuming the letter is real, if it is an item that can not be shipped into a certain State by law, seizing it and destroying it without a warrant would also be tampering with evidence.
Not to mention fraud for intentionally not doing what they were contracted and paid to do.
If real, I can see a letter like that causing them a world of grief without a national law giving them the power to do so. The would have to be a special kind of stupid.
But then again, the woke left seems to be trying to see who can be the most stupid lately.

Entirely hinges on whether that letter is real or not. Could be someone's sick idea of a joke.

With all the "wokeness" going around, who knows if it's real or not.

No letterhead. No signature of an officer of the company. Could have been done on any computer printer anywhere and mailed. By anyone. So far, no proof it even came from UPS.

Personally, from what I have seen, it would not surprise me either way. The "I can be woker and more stupid than you can" movement is still strong. For a company officer to actually send that letter would be monumentally stupid though. Our own Congress Critters and PORUS are proof that they are out there and among us.
