Been focused on semi auto rifles and bull pups for so long, that recently can’t help myself when I see a nice bolt rifle. Checking out pawn shops on free time and left with a nice Remington 700 25-06. Not sure what the scope is. Has a nice blued finish but no markings. The ocular lens is sort of rectangular. Flat on top and bottom but still round on the sides.

Could be a vintage "Redfield Widefield" scope. Maybe one of our more seasoned, mature members could verify .

The old .25-06 is a great caliber. Congrats.

Think I’ve found it online, Weaver V7-II W. The finish from the ones I see online are a bit different but the shape looks the same, would also explains why I couldn’t see any markings, cause the weaver roll mark would be under the rear ring.

Think you're right. Here's a couple pics from the 1978 catalog. Looks like yours is newer that that

I have a 71-72 Weaver 3x9 Widefield. Looks the same as yours with no marking on it whatsoever. Was after Weaver had sold the company. Olin must have decided against markings.
