I liked the different type of Predator and his different weapons. Lots of girl power moments but still able to enjoy the movie. The dog is cool too.

Nowhere near as good as the first 2 Predator movies but a big improvement from the previous movie. That movie was a big turd.
Wife and I kept hoping the dog didn't get killed!

All in all, not a bad movie.

I remember way back when a $40K King Ranch was astronomical.
My parents paid $5K for a '71 Buick Estate wagon, I think Dad bitched about that for 30yrs. Lol

Parents bought a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 2WD with a Duramax and simply options. No leather seats but power windows and locks. I remember they paid a little bit over $30k for it. They wouldn't even think about buying a new one today. It was mom's daily driver until last year when they got a low mileage used Chevy Traverse which was more than that new Silverado many years ago.

Got out of the service in '73, went back to shoeing horses and needed a truck.
Could flat ass not believe they wanted $3600 for a new Ford 1/2 ton step side.
Eight years earlier a like pickup ran $2000 at most.

Obviously back before pickups became a substitute for a bigger Outboard Johnson ...

By about half. Still counts as a ridiculous overreaction to the minor insult paid to it by a mere oak branch. Wish I knew what was going on but as long as it doesn't get worse, I'll call it a win.

I'm slow but 'poison' oak or ivy maybe?

Maybe but I doubt it. I would expect those to be even worse. This morning it's just a dime-sized area of mild reddish discoloration with a pronounced lump in the middle. I'm back to wondering if I missed a small splinter that's still in there.

Watching. Waiting. And continuing to be amazed that a tiny ouchy in my widdle palm has gotten so much attention. :)
