Eh, my meter is broken this week. 40% of my area was laid off. Luckily(?) I wasn’t, but management messaging has been that I should be grateful to stay.
Grateful to pick up the slack of the 40% let go? :D yeah, thanks...

off topic, but I think there's a lot more of that to come. I just took a job that's 50% what I normally get paid, but I know it's already funded for the next couple of years so I don't have to worry about the layoffageddon that's on the horizon.

The liberal media has been claiming this was just serving a search warrant and not a raid.

Odd, I saw video of agents with real assault rifles. Trump's lawyer who was there for part of the raid said she saw only 3 agents in coat and tie. The rest were in Tommy Tacticool gear with masks.
Well I’m glad they geared up. Very unsafe for them. A wealthy community like that with security. Definitely high risk.

Wonder if the fbi made any job offers to folks at the Uvalde sheriffs office yet?

We’ve already had the conversation about doing more with less is really doing less with less and resultant impacts on quality, so I’ll just add it to the backlog and continue asking “What’s most important to finish?”
As I once told a boss, "I can't write with both hands. Which project do you want me to work on first?"
