So great of people to put leds in their shit boxes and blind everyone on farm roads. Cunts, is what I call them.

Some of them are just stupid bright
Whenever I'm driving in the country and come up on a car who's lights are so bright it hurts my eyes I flash them to be sure they aren't high beams

Brightness should be no problem if they are installed and aimed properly. A lot of people don't give a hoot.
Plus some LEDs are omnidirectional and require expensive projector housings. But people again don't give a hoot.
The state inspection for vehicles in Texas only requires headlights to be present and produce visible light. Nothing about proper aim or not blinding. Write to your state representative to fix it.
We have some officers here. Out of curiosity, is this a ticketable offense? I'd assume so since this violates safety on the road but want to confirm.

Because that’s that I want, the inspection process to require me to pull up to a wall to check headlights. No thanks.

I was a certified inspector back in the 90s. They did away with inspecting the aim on headlights for 2 reasons .

1. More vehicles had permanent headlight housings that only required the bulb to be replaced which has zero effect on how the light is aimed . Unlike the older sealed bean units which could and needed to be adjusted for proper aim.

2. Inspection stations could fail you for headlights out of alignment and charge you a fee to adjust them. Too many complaints came into Austin that everytime people went for Inspection they were being told they needed a headlight adjustment

So the legislature had good reason do do away with the requirement

My opinion is if I get blinded by your headlight while they are on low beam to the point it kills my night vision then they are too damn brite. I don't care if they are aftermarket or OEM.

Shoot, bright isn't the problem. It's headlight designs that don't include a strong vertical cutoff. Mostly caused by people putting the wrong bulb in the housing of course.

The problem isn't folks with OEM HID or LED, its the folks that jam a HID into a halogen housing or get a off-road-only LED kit.
