What kinda vibrator we talkin? Like a little bullet one, or full on sybian?.

    We are talking about those...

    Right?
He is interested in something to help get feeling and strength back in his left arm and hand. I messaged him ads for several different types of vibrators for arms and hands. He also wants a bedside table like they have in the hospital. I sent him some photos of several that are listed on Amazon. My wife might be interested in the sybian though.

When you're in your 20s you have a great deal of neuro-elasticity. so recovery from a stroke is easier. At our age it's harder, but not impossible, to make gradual improvement. Don't give up, Axxe. I'm 2 1/2 years post-stroke and have maybe 50% feeling back on my left side and it improves a bit each year. Everything used to be completely numb, but now I can feel when something touches me. While I cant pick up change or do my buttons left handed any more, I can carry grocery bags and pick up large objects with that hand.

Diet has to change. Habits have to change. Consider the stroke a wake up call.

I talked with him this morning and told him not to worry about the space key. His posts are still easy to read. Makesmewonderwhyweusethespacekey.
I thought his elimination of spaces was an effort to reduce our carbon footprint and save the planet. Each space not used is a reduction in the use of fossil fuels.

Axxe, you need to work your ass off in rehab. The greatest gain in function will be in the first two years. Studies have shown you can see some improvement even 20 years post stroke. I’m serious about looking in Dr. Edward Taubs program of recovery. It’s called constrain ment therapy and he is at the University of Alabama - Birmington. Your large muscles are going to come to life sooner than the smaller muscles. My legs began improvement first. It took 3 months before I could move my left hand. 15 years post stroke, I still have numbness in my left side. My balance and strength still suck but I can function. Just keep fighting.

Axxe, I have no idea of you insurance situation. However, you may have to push to get your full benifits. I had the top program my insurance company offered at the time and getting them to approve rehab was like pulling teeth. I have to credit my wife for fighting those bastards. I ended up with. 3 months of in-hous therapy ( hospital) and 3 more outpatient therapy sessions of about 30 days each.

A stroke may reduce the ability to switch hands without missing a stroke.
