    Well I just completed assembling my first lower. I’m not patting myself on the back as I put some scratches on the thing and watched about a hunnert videos. Now I have to decide what goes on top. All in all it was fun. I used the tools in my tool chest none of the fancy wrenches or blocks or even a vise.

    Congrats. Did you use painter’s tape around the pin holes?

    The major one was the bolt catch release. I used tape but got so frustrated I banged the heck out of it That is the only spot scratched. The trigger was not fun until I created a slave pin

    I will bang test later next week
    Your doing great, you will be able to do it in the dark, by the 4th or 5the one
