Sadly a few months ago I saw a garage sale online (local) featuring about 6 boxes of various jacketed soft point slugs!!! By the time I got there they were all gone...

I do quite a bit of estate sales shopping as a reseller (not gun related) and have found firearms and a few other things are generally a Day 1 item, even when they are not so attractively priced. With the items I shop, I am mostly competing against other resellers. We all basically know what we need to buy things at in order to make a profit, so there is some predictability which day we are are going to actually buy particular items, but with guns and ammo, you are also competing against end users and they are more then happy to buy things at 10% off retail or higher.
