    What exact model Walther is this and approximately from what decade? All the markings are pretty much worn off and no gunsmith could identify.

    Those guys kick like a mule due to the light weight. Had one anodized purple for my ex wife but she didn't like shooting it because it was so snappy.

    I sent the link to the neighbors, hopefully it's not bad news for them. Since this thing needs some work, it might not be financially viable to keep it.
    Anybody want to buy a commie classic? A collectible? I'd let it go for $5k, just because we're all friends here. :D

    Refinish the slide and its back to being decent looking. Just noticed the adjustable sights. I don't think those are standard. Might be desirable to the right person.

    I think you are forgetting that it has a “light patina” on it so that might knock the value down to $4999. . . .
