This is what I drove in 1964.1962 Corvette, 327 fuel injection, 3 speed. The 3 speed was the racing model and the 4 speed was the street model.

Not so much single stack's choice :p but I agree with many of your selections.
I've also long liked an '80s Monza in IMSA type trim but minus the whale tail. I can't find a pic w/more streetable paint but you get the idea.

I can't believe it took three pages for this, this would be my pick too.

Yup. Except I wouldn’t want a true numbers matching car, I’d take a rolling chassis and body and do a nice resto-mod with it. A roush 5.0 IR mated to a Tremec TKX would start the powertrain combo for me.

    Eleonora?

    Red gives an Italian vibe.

    I know different year.

Honestly the red wouldn't be my first pick - this just happens to be a beautifully restored example with good photography. For me it would be either black or "Grabber Green". Otherwise, yeah, the 69 Mach 1 is always my go-to "if only" car. Not that I would walk away from a red one...

Krylon makes a color changes easy peasy.
