Romney: "Obama has failed America" - FoxNews.com

Mitt has a good speech writer. I particularly like this last paragraph:

"Government under President Obama has grown to consume almost 40% of our economy. We are only inches away from ceasing to be a free market economy. I will cap federal spending at 20% or less of the GDP and finally, finally balance the budget. My generation will pass the torch to the next generation, not a bill. I will insist that Washington learns to respect the constitution, including the 10th amendment. We will return responsibility and authority to the states for dozens of government programs – and that begins with a complete repeal of Obamacare. From my first day in office my number one job will be to see that America once again is number one in job creation."

I hope we have a better choice than that POS.

What a hypocrite with health care, he put just about the same thing in Mass when he was governor. Plus he is in favor of a assault rifle ban.

We don't need to be promoting this guy in any form or fashion.

I hope he just goes away.

He seemed to be quite the statist when he was govenor. Why would we expect him to be a constitutionalist if elected president? Ron Paul is the most seasoned. Herman Cain makes me smile. Michelle Bachman will bring some fire to the debate. Stay tuned.

A lot better choice, but the left has worked so hard for so many years getting him labeled a nut job, he has little chance of getting through that barrier. Great ideas that will never be taken seriously by the majority of the voters.

I firmly believe that the next president of the US has not been identified as a contender yet. Someone will come out of the pack in the next year or so to take control.

(BTW, not busting your chops too hard on Mitt, a lot of us read the Drudge Report, and take it with a grain of salt. He is like Beck to me, over the top and willing to push his agenda without showing the entire picture.)

Blah, Blah Blah. Just like Obama he would soon figure out that what you say and what you intend to do during your campaign is far from what you can get done once you are in office.

I read a great article the other day that basically said it doesn't matter who is in office these days, they all basically become the same person once they are there. Not really sure I agree with that, but you do see it somewhat with Obama doing things like extending the Bush Era tax cuts, and renewing the Patriot Act. I can't remember if he said specifically he would do away with both or one of those thigns during his campaign, but neither of those items are typically something a Democrat would be quick to keep around..

Just food for thought. Oh, and Romney is not a candidate who can beat Obama, they better come with something else, Obama would destroy him during the campaign...

Sigh....The flow of bullshit begins in earnest. I'm still in favor of "Clean Sweep". Every one of the thieving scumbags in office needs to go.

I wish that Washington DC was equipped with a "Flush" handle. It could be set up like one of those carnival dunking booths. Mess up and you'll be swirling downward with the turds.

I've been assured that Sarah Palin will show us her hooters if we vote for her. So far, that's the best deal we have going.

I was basically going to mention the same thing. He's the jerkwad that pulled the "pre" Obastard care scam in his state. If Shit Romney is the only choice anyone can come up with, I'm going to write in Mickey Mouse at the next election because there won't be anyone worth a

I want one thing more than anything else from whichever Republican candidate becomes the one who runs against Obama: A promise to the American public to completely repeal government-mandated health insurance.

Trouble is this time around Mitt is like voting for McCain. He has a poor record on the second amemdment, saying he supports it yet he also supports and assualt weapon (modern sporting rifle) ban. With him we'd see max of 10 shots and pump action only.

If this election is to be taken away from Obama we have to run someone conservative. Putting Mitt up may well re-elect Obama because many they both are two centrist with a left lean.

And the best change I'd like to see happen that would make the "Flush" a reality would be a balanced budget amendment. If Congress doesn't come up with a balanced budget by a specific annual date, then they are all forced to run again for their office that same calendar year. Of course, with the foxes running the henhouse what do you think the possibilities are of actually achieving a balanced budget amendment? Yah, that's what I thought too...nil.
