Fingerprints under Review

WTF? I sent my paperwork in on 2/28, checked the website today, fingerprints under review and Background check under review. Any ideas on why they would be under review?

I had the finger prints under review problem. I eventually had to have new prints done. Turned out one finger had a slight smudge. Good luck with yours. Also they do get back logged with so many being mailed in.

Yeah..my background check has been under review for a good bit..at least a month I think...I lost track. I stopped checking it daily because it was like watching grass grow. hnoes:

I sent my paperwork down on the 2/28 also and yesterday the finger prints and background check updated to complete.

Good idea. Mine took over 8 weeks, needed new pics. Didnt check more then 2 or 3 times total. It will drive you nuts

I got mine exactly 6 weeks from the day I mailed it to the day I received it in the mail. Felt like the first time I got my drivers license!

I got my CHL back in 1996 I think I was first in line. It took a lot longer then.

I told myself that I wouldn't check it anymore and after about three days I checked it. I guess Im a little OCD. Still waiting and status hasn't changed. The guy I went and took the class with already got his. Happy for him but damn its been a while now I want mine. Can't do anything but keep waiting....Im not going to check it all from this point on.

That's been my status for the past 5 weeks. I know of one person in my class that has already received theirs. Frustrating.

Did you have your prints taken at L1 or did they do the ink? But either way, you should have an accept or reject of the prints by now. Then again, updating that site isn't their top priority. But when mine were rejected the first time I saw the rejection on the web site. Probably because the reject requires them writing the letter (which I got about a month after I received my plastic by the way) and checking a box somewhere that triggers the web site. So if they haven't been rejected, I'm not sure you have to worry a lot.

I went and had them done at L1. They have not been rejected so I guess that's a good sign. I've been checking the mail for any kind of correspondence from the State but still haven't seen/received anything either. Hoping to get my plastic and not a letter saying my fingerprints were rejected.

I started to back track and I actually sent the paperwork on March 7, 2011.

State law requires it. They are probably waiting on the FB to give a response on the prints, and your background is not back from the field investigator.

If it has been more than 60 days I would not hesitate to call.

It happens. .gov just needs to make sure the sheep you had relations with aren't related. Patience, Grasshopper...

No worries! My buddy from Arkansas schooled me on safe sex. We paint an X on the back of the sheep that kick.

Just bummed, mine expires on the 7th and I hate being without.

Good news just checked the site and Fingerprints and Background check are COMPLETE!!!! It now says Manufacturing Pending.
So that means its on its way correct??? Its been 13 weeks or 2 months 30 days or 91 days..from the March 7, 2011 until today June 6, 2011.

i kept checking everyday too lol after about a week i wouldnt bother checking it.

Took mine 32 days from the day i sent it off and to get it in the mail
