OK, after charging the battery, I can declare victory. I drove the mower back into the shed and parked it under its own power. Now the next challenge...finding a drive belt that's the right size.

    Why is that a challenge?

Because it has never taken the same size belt twice. I don't know why (though I suspect something got moved/bent when Ox the Destroyer and his redneck neighbor buddy took it upon themselves to change out the first busted belt four years ago while I was inside cooling off). If the belt I've got that I've never installed doesn't fit, I'm gonna be taking the mower to someone who knows how to make the belt drive fit the belt the owner's manual says it's supposed to.

And then, maybe, just maybe...we won't be that one family who never mows their yard this year.

Also, I didn't throw any tools...but man, I was tempted to try to thow that riding mower.

And all of this cut into my forging time. I got about an hour out there, and since I'm grinding the cleaver till it gets too hot, then grlinding a knife till it gets too hot, then grinding another knife till it gets too hot...that translates to 20 minutes of work time on the Bonechopper.

Dammit. At least I had a couple of hours yesterday. I promise, progress pics on the Bonechopper and both knives will be on their way, and I have a knife forging video I need to edit and post.

You and axxe should do a you tube channel, adventures in riding lawnmower repair. You 2 seem to fix em more than use them.
