Ben, how can we have a discussion about a school shooting without politics? Especially in the current climate, with the details known about the subhuman creature that committed the crime, and the left holding it up as some kind of heroic crusader for the trans agenda while also using its actions to demand new restrictions on everyone's rights...adding Biden's incompetence on top just goes with what we should know to expect by now.

You’re right on all points, just like the vast majority of veterans who’s closest combat experience was a food fight at the chow hall.

But we (the veteran community) have been getting pummeled with this shit ad fucking nauseam since 2013, when the VA first published their findings of a suicide among a very small subset of military members.

Without doing any research, my first impression is that this is some old video that someone is using to take a shot a Biden at an inappropriate time. Then with a little research, it seems he may have actually done this today.

So I'm not a religious man. but I can confidently say, the increased speed in the demise of America came with removing God and the Pledge from schools and from courts.

I remember in college (and I went late) that something about the sanctity of marriage came up, and nobody in the class knew that at one time the only people that could marry folks had either taken an oath to God or been ordained by God. They had no concept that civil servants all used to put their hand on a Bible and swear an oath to God in order to assume their position in the government.

When higher judgement was removed from the system, the system began to collapse at a staggering rate.

Certainly I believe that was part of it. I also believe that welfare, the end of corporal punishment, civil and social studies in most schools, no child left behind and the internet had a lot to do with it.

Many kids that have grown up in the last quarter century have no sense of responsibility.

Actually the prevalence of school shootings coincides with the rise of the use of SSRIs by the psychopharmacology industry. Almost every shooter was on SSRIs at one time or another.

Messing with a person's brain chemistry, especially before they are 25 years old is a really bad idea.

A lot of these drugs to treat depression have a tendency to turn idle thoughts of self-harm or harming others into something the individual suddenly has the drive and determination to follow through on. The rates of regular suicide where only the individual is killed are ridiculous where these things are concerned.
