He will be convicted. The jury pool will be chosen the same way the President was.

He can't get a fair trial in NYC, and no judge in NYC would ever consider granting a change of venue. Never mind that what he's being accused of is a misdemeanor at best, and one his last two opponents were both fined for, and there's nothing but the word of a corrupt and discredited lawyer to go on that it was handled improperly enough to make it a misdemeanor in the first place.

Well, if Newsweek is putting that much effort into 'debunking' it, then it probably happened exactly like it sounds.

Anyone who thinks the US Secret Service is going to let a protectee spend one second in a cell is smoking crack with Hunter Biden.

It’s going to be interesting to watch this play out.
All they want is a conviction. They aren't interested in jail time (secret service creates an issue) and fines. He would be given probation. They just want the conviction to remove him from being an eligible candidate.

That's exactly right .All this is, and all it's ever been, is a drive to disqualify him by any means necessary. That's what the raid at Mar-A-Lago was, but that fell apart. So now they're trying this. And when it falls apart they'll come up with another attempt to charge him with something else they've invented.

Shaman guy is in halfway house, not released! But yes, going from hell hole to halfway in a day was due to Tucker's release vid. We haven't heard from judge on the case - bet he's madder than hell he got 'taken'. How does a conviction get you moved to halfway house anyway, legally?

The Constitution lists only three qualifications for the Presidency — the President must be at least 35 years of age, be a natural born citizen, and must have lived in the United States for at least 14 years.

    Almost.

    Fourteenth Amendment, Section 3:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

    —————-

There is a thought some have that a conviction will trigger Article II, Section IV of the Constitution as a disqualification
    Code:
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Except that, like ATF, people can’t read. That removal is predicated on Impeachment, so the only thing any conviction would do is serve as mudslinging fodder.
