Hello everyone. New to Texas and to the forum. Currently moving to Texas from Washington. With all the new laws and the light speed way of living in Washington the family decided to make a change and enjoy life again. I’ve been a member of Waguns, Northwestfirearms, and HuntWashington forums for many years. I enjoy shooting, collecting, and hunting. Looking forward to talking to new members and gaining knowledge of good areas to shoot, hunt, and find good deals on stuff.

Not so much areas as places. The public land you probably experienced is different in Texas, as we didn't sell our collective soul to the feds to become a state. You'll figure it out, but don't expect wide tracts of wilderness where you can hunt and shoot.

    Welcome.

Pretty much sums it up on shooting and hunting. Welcome aboard. No bitching about how much easier it was where you came from.
