Their service is okay, depends on who you work with. In general, they aren't quite as arrogant as many other gun shops.

Prices on lowers were fair market value, before election day. I heard they had the same frenzy as everyone else, so no telling what they may or may not have in stock. Pricing on complete uppers wasn't very exciting, but I got spoiled shopping at Camp Perry Commercial Row. IMHO, Complete rifles were a little high but bird in the hand...

Great place to outfit a tacticool rifle. Lots of accessories, good selections, you can see and feel what you're buying. To me, that's worth a small premium over the internet as you're supporting a local merchant who stocks items you want. Some great deals on their clearance table. Magazines were competitively priced when I was in there before election day. I bought some other goodies from them as well that I thought were fairly priced.

Worth checking out. ATM, as a budget shopper with unique expectations, you may not appreciate the benefits of a stocking dealer vs. jpeg based shopping.

I found them to be a little arrogant, but I'm a little sensative to that. It is a pet peeve of mine. Anyway, I usually deal with Texas Tactical. Knowledgable, good pricing and they stock most everything. The were selling RRA stripped lowers for $160, which is fair in the current state of affairs.

I purchased one of their uppers at the last GRB show. I'm not sure that I will ever purchase anything from them at a gunshow again. The older gentlemen behind the table is a liar, and tried to convince me that their upper receivers and bolt carrier groups are made by FN. If they hadn't been the only people there with a decently priced flattop barreled upper I would have walked.

Now then, the people that were in the store this past weekend are a different story. I am having a problem with the upper I purchased shooting way to the right at 50 yds, and by the time I got it on paper I was out of windage adjustment (it's an LMT rear sight so quality of the sights shouldn't be an issue). I took the upper into their shop, and spoke with a guy by the name of John Griffin. John was excellent to deal with, and didn't exhibit any kind of arrogant attitue. Everyone was actually fairly friendly and attentive, which was suprising considering how busy they were. They seem to be selling AR's just as fast as they can fill out the paperwork. At any rate, the do warranty all of their SOG branded products, and are sending my upper off to their gunsmith with no out of pocket expense to me. So, from a strictly customer service standpoint, they receive top marks in my book.

As with most places, you need to shop around, and get a feel for what the fair prices are for the items you are looking for. They have good prices on some things, but are terribly overpriced on others.

Then isn't your research a little late? LOL

you are 100% right. The stuff i ordered from AIM was Backordered 4 weeks out and i had to give a FFL ship to location at the time i made the phone order. that was the only name that came to mind as im still pretty new in town.
By the time Mr. nalioth steared me towards a better FFL a day later my Lowers shipped.

I was happy and sad at the same time. im happy i get my lowers 3 weeks early but sad im stuck with $35.00 FFL fees for each lower.

Very friendly, nice people working their. prices are ... fair. I did not see to many uppers but its always nice to deal local so im thinking i will be taking some buisness to them in the future.
