First: I have NO idea why I just remembered this today.
Second: I think this is an okay place to drop it, but feel free to disagree.
Third: interested in the local UFOlogists take on this possible non-event.

Context: the wife and I were blessed with a sailboat on a scenic lake in the Idaho panhandle. Lake Coeur d'Alene. It's July 2016 and we are out on a gorgeous summer day. I look up in the pure blue sky. See this TINY white dot moving silently across the sky. Now, my camera is a cheap point and shoot, so I go to max optical zoom and snap a pic. Get it home that evening and find that if I then zoom in on that speck, it DOES have form, but is not like anything I have ever seen. A drone? (I later read of a company on the west side of WA doing development on a flying wing drone, so maybe?). Anyway, I will attach the original photo. Note the tiny white speck. Zoom in and see what YOU see. Comments welcome.

The US has patented some of the concepts needed for a UFO and disappeared the original scientists.

    <>

Everyone should recall that Dr. Leo Windecker was a Dentist in Lake Jackson with a background in polymer chemistry.

Then, he was a part-time Dentist out in Midland; and invented, designed, built and ‘’CERTIFICATED’’ the World’s first actual ‘’plastiic airplane’’.

Even large corporations like Toyota have troubles getting an airplane FAA ‘’Certified’’, but a part-time Texas Dentist did it.

    Then Dr. Leo disappeared again for a few years. . . . . . .

We suffered ‘’9/11’’ and GWB, interestingly another Midlander, launched ‘’Operation Desert Storm’’. Suddenly, Iraqui (WHY Iraqi?) planes & tanks began exploding from some mysterious nocturnal force.

The world met the F-111 ‘’Stealth Fighter’’ and simultaneously learned just what our absent Texas Dentist had been up-to.

    So, quien sabe ?

But, when it comes to visitors from other worlds; one must first consider the unimaginable distances involved and the time needed for transiting them.

    150 years back our Ancestors rode horses and used coal-oil lanterns . . . . . . . . .

Suddenly, Iraqui (WHY Iraqi?) planes & tanks began exploding from some mysterious nocturnal force.

Stealth fighters weren't used to nail aircraft and tanks. They were used to bomb high value targets in Baghdad and other major cities with wall-to-wall air defenses. The "mysterious nocturnal force" taking out armor and aircraft was a mix of F-15s, F-16s, A-10s, Panavia Tornadoes, Harriers, and whatever else they could get in the air with some NVG's on the pilot's face. EVERYTHING flew night missions. The first night of the war, AH-64 Apache attack helicopters flew a lights-out night mission to take down air defenses at the border for a huge strike package of F-15E's to pass through undetected. F-117s were already over Baghdad and dropped their payloads at about the same time.

And "why Iraqi"? Well, I'd assume because that's whose shit was in Iraq and Kuwait that needed bombing.

The world met the F-111 ‘’Stealth Fighter’’ and simultaneously learned just what our absent Texas Dentist had been up-to.

The F-111 Aaardvark is not a stealth fighter. It was a swing-wing fighter/bomber first built in the 1960s, used by the USAF and the RAAF. The Aussies kept them in service about ten years longer than the USAF did.

The F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter was known to exist and was even revealed to the press in 1988, several years before Desert Shield/Destert Storm (though details were kept fuzzy). Its first use in combat was in Panama in 1989. They are NOT made of plastic. Their skin is a carbon composite material that shreds like fiberglas when it's damaged. The composite skin survived climactic testing from -60° to 160°, including icing tests and being sprayed with high pressure water, which plastic would have a very difficult time with.

I know you like to spin yarns, but try to stick closer to easily verifiable fact. You're posting misinformation here.

I worked at night hauling feed for Holly Farms in East Texas for years. Stuck miles in the woods on empty houses, you see some weird stuff.
When I hauled bauxite to South Texas for years, sometimes you are miles out in the woods, I've seen people sneaking through some of those oil well sights. The sky is full of things you can't identify.
Just because it's called a UFO does not mean little grey men and outer space stuff.
Unidentified Flying Object, it could be space junk or who know?
