100% over-rated cartridge6.5 Creedmoor is for the gays
Yep. Does everything a 300 BO does, just not as well.I don't know about over-rated, haven't shot most of the catridges listed here. But if the question were most under-rated, that prize has to go to the ol' 30-30. Inside 200 yards of course.

The last wars we won. Maybe we should bring it back!It didn't win 2 world wars for you to talk mess about it.

It is.7.62x39 Commie round

It's also a ballistic clone of .30-30 at half the cost

You sound like someone who puts beans in their chili.Every cartridge is over hyped, that's the marketing part of the industry. There isn't a universal cartridge, they all go bang (with good ammo). I like the variety and I want at least 1 of everything. As for all of you snobs, you don't know what you are missing by focusing on just a few cartridges in focused calibers.
Not hardly, but when someone mentions a caliber I like to say "I have one of those", and, according to my wife, I probably do.You sound like someone who puts beans in their chili.
so what’s your favorite? Not hardly, but when someone mentions a caliber I like to say "I have one of those", and, according to my wife, I probably do.
My favorite part of this thread is its sheer pointlessness!
Yup! This is a case of liking a cartridge because of the platform. As an old fart I have a fondness for lever guns. 30-30 has major limitations in terms of energy and ballistic coefficient, sure. But it is way more effective than most people give it credit for.....like the .30-30.
