Picked up a Steiner MPS refurb for a bit over $300 at Midway, full Steiner warranty. Needed something to replace the Vortex Venom that I busted…I sold the Vortex replacement and was looking for something more modern and enclosed.

The Vortex used a Docter cut, so I didn’t have a ton of options. I had my eyes on a Burris FastFire 4 but then saw the Steiner.

Now all I need to do is find the time to zero and train with it LOL

I made the mistake of trying to give business to a local gunsmith by asking him to thread a Mini-14 I got a year ago. After 5 months, he decided he didn't have the capacity to do it, so I shipped the Mini and a post-ban Colt upper to JP Grips & Machine up in Minnesota. I just got them back today, turnaround less than 2 weeks from when he received it.
