Stick Throwing

I learned that it is possible to kill small game by hurling a stick at it. Does anyone else think this is awesome? I'm trying to get better at throwing so I can get a rabbit this way, just for posterity.

By the way, it is possible to kill anything by throwing a stick at it, if the stick is big enough.

I kill snakes with rocks and sticks all the time. It might not be humane but it beats gettin' bit.

I just walk the other way. I've probably had close encounters with about a dozen rattle snakes. Don't mess with them and they'll do the same. Cotton mouths are another story.

Rocks require better aim. A stick has a wide angle and has potential to include some of the centrifugal force in the blow.

By the way, it is possible to kill anything by throwing a stick at it, if the stick is big enough.

Is this why the Scots took up log throwing?

My grandpa showed me a custom load of sticks and stones to break bones.
