    I'm old school anyway. I finally broke down and got a 1911, the rest of 'em are wheel guns. 'cept for the .22 plinker.

    They're nickel hydride and they go 10-15 years. It's also one big pack (except the 12 volt battery, which is an absorbed glass mat type) made out of a bunch of cells that look like D batteries. And even put out a volt and a half each, just like a D battery. Except these each have a thermistor (temperature sensor) attached to the side.

    Odd fact: They wired the batteries AND thermistors in series, so the car goes by the total resistance of all the sensors together to determine battery temp.


    Can't really say I told ya so after you explain it like that. Sounds like toyota's doin alot better. They used to wear out alot more quickly.

    Seriously?! Just stepped out of hotel room to smoke one and a guys unoccupied diesel truck is idleing, I'm down wind! Sure wish I had a Prius to save me.
