I got a ticket today for breaking a red. It was totally my fault, I thought I could make it through a yellow, and missed by a fraction of a second. Anyways, I had my cocked and locked 1911 by my side with a flimsy NRA ball cap covering it, and I didn't inform the officer about it because I was in a hurry to get home from work and take an online quiz for my math class, and he didn't seem to notice, or care, about what it was there for. The ushanka was getting too intrusive and covering my filthy cupholders, so I started covering the gun with the NRA ballcap.

SLPD has really nice officers! Still got a ticket though, but I've never met a rude LEO here.

that is a crossman 1088 co2 powered 8 shot semi automatic .177 pellet pistol. they have a hard time punching a hole in a soda can at 20 feet. a soup can at point blank? forget about it, it will bounce off and hit you in the leg.

I had a crosman storm XT air rifle that shot .177 pellets at 1000 fps. I was shooting crosman lead hollow points with it, and it fully penetrated a 3/4" wooden fence board. A hollow point lead pellet from an air rifle penetrated a 3/4" wooden fence board. That shit crey. I can't imagine what it would do to a small squirrels skull, I never shot any animals with it.

That said, I think it has everything to do with the FPS that the pellet is launched at. I doubt it would penetrate human skull, but all the BB pistols I've had could EASILY penetrate soda cans at 310 to 480, and 510 FPS. The 480 fps would break glass Dr. Pepper bottles too like nothing.

rifles are a different story. ive taken rabbits racoons opossums with a daisy powerline 880. i wouldnt mind getting another one of those actually.

I want another one for sure, but it bothers me that I'd be spending $100 on a pellet gun that can take up to raccoons and possum when I can get a mosin nagant for less and take moose.
