    Happy Confederate Heroes Day!!!!!

The Mass Media will not make much mention of the fact today, if it is mentioned at all, but today, January 19, is Confederate Heroes Day!

A day to honor the gallant men who fought for, and many fell for, the Cause of Liberty and Self Determination against the Washington Government which grew evil and wicked beyond description, and has not been redeemed to date.

January 19th was chosen as the date for Confederate Heroes Day because it is the Birthday of our Confederacy's Uncle Robert, General Robert E. Lee.

God bless our Confederate Heroes and our cause of Liberty!

Robert E. Lee, son of Lighthorse Harry Lee.

The “Uncle Robert” of our Confederacy.

    Born Jan 19, 1807 – Died Oct 12, 1870 - Aged 63 years

    Notable Ancestors:

    King Robert II of Scotland

    King John of England

    King Edward I of England

    King Edward III of England

    King Pedro of Castile

King Jean de Brienne of Jerusalem

    Notable Distant Relatives:

    President Thomas Jefferson

    Richard Henry Lee

    Meriwether Lewis (Lewis and Clark)

Robert was the only West Point Cadet to graduate with no demerits, which spoke volumes as to his genuine character. Later in his Army carrier he was appointed to Superintendent of West Point.

Served in the Mexican War, as did Jefferson Davis.

Offered Command of the Union Army, which he turned down as an act of integrity, which baffled the Washington Government then, as it would now.

He was eventually given Command of the Army of Northern Virginia, which never suffered military defeat at the clutches of the much larger, much better equipped invading army from that Union to the north.

Robert, and honest man, was hoodwinked by a group of scalawags in Officers Uniforms, whom he had mistaken to be honorable men. He ordered his army to surrender believing that a cease fire could then commence, and that an honorable end to the war would ensue; of course that was not the case.

The Washington Government stole Robert’s home and land, just like they did to so many good Patriots, and left him destitute.

Eventually he was offered the Presidency of Washington College, now known as Washington and Lee College.

Robert and his family members are buried at the Chapel at the college, and even the grave of his father, Lighthorse Harry, was moved to that site.

Lighthorse Harry, AKA Henry Lee III, served as a Calvary Officer under General George Washington, and was a close to a friend of George as anyone was. Lighthorse was also employed by the People in the Office of Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and as a Virginia Representative to the Washington Government’s Congress.

Lighthorse felt compelled to serve the cause of Liberty against the Tyranny of the London Government.

Likewise his son felt compelled to fight for Liberty and Self Determination against the Tyranny of the corrupt Washington Government.

    As do we all!

    General Stonewall Jackson

Born Jan 21, 1824 Thomas Jonathan Jackson

Died May 10, 1863 (a very tragic case of friendly fire)

Just as Jefferson Davis, Stonewall Jackson was a Hero of the Mexican War, where an American Force, while out numbered by overwhelming odds, soundly defeated the criminal Mexican Army.

A West Point Graduate, Jackson began his Military career as an Artillery Officer.

In 1851 Jackson left the Army and took a position as an Instructor at the Virginia Military Institute, and tough the Sciences there including Physics, Astronomy, Acoustics, Optics, and General Science.

In 1853 Jackson married Elinor, who was the daughter of the President of Washington College, which is the same College that General Robert E. Lee became President of after our Army quit the field in our Second American Revolution.

At the Battle of 1st Manassas, the remark was made by General Bee “Look, there stands Jackson like a stone wall”. For his actions at that battle, Jackson was promoted to Brigadier General.

He was later promoted to Major General and given command of the Shenandoah Valley.

When Lee reorganized his army into two Corps, Jackson was promoted to Lt. General and given command of the 2nd Corps, so that Lee commanded half the Army of Northern Virginia, and Jackson the other half.

Always outnumbered, never out fought, General Jackson said “Always mystify, mislead, and surprise an enemy, and when you strike and over come him, never let up in the pursuit. Never fight against heavy odds if you can hold you force on only a part of your enemy and crush it. A small army may thus destroy a large one and repeated victory will make it invincible!”

God bless General Stonewall Jackson, and all our Confederate Heroes!

Let us never falter in our Cause of Liberty!

    Deo Vindice!

A family member who survived the Second American Revolution was in the Calvary under General Stonewall Jackson, and according to him, our troops had nothing but respect for Stonewall, and they all felt that it had been the greatest honor in their life to go into battle with that great man.

General Stonewall Jackson was at all times outnumbered at least three to one, often five to one, sometimes worse than that, and yet he may be the only great military man in all of History who never lost a battle.

All our Confederate Heroes fought like a bear defending a cub, because that is precisely what they were doing!

God bless them one and all!

I'll be shocked if you can find one single mention of this in the MSM.

A salute to those Americans who fell in defense of the nation and those who served so well and bravely.

Right, because it is obsevered on a total of 9 different days in the south. Only Arkansas and Texas observe it on January 19th. It is a non-partially observed Texas and Arkansas holiday.

The Union, now the whole of the USA, doesn't even recognize a special day only for Union soldiers as they consider all soldiers under Memorial day, Union and Confederate. As such, most folks don't give it a second thought to a special day for Confederates only. There is no reason to do so.

Yeah, but the south didn't win. The south made stupid strategic decision after stupid strategic decision.

Then just why exactly was it, in your personal opinion, that Lincoln’s invading criminal army (trained professional soldiers) who out numbered our defending Heroes (poor farmers and a handful of Army Officers) by 5 to 1, were unable at any time to achieve military victory over our boys?

In the personal opinion of General Stonewall Jackson, it could not possibly be of any doubt to any mortal man, but that what kept us in our Fight for Freedom was nothing less than Divine Providence!

    General J.E.B Stuart

Born Feb 6, 1833 James Ewell Brown Stuart of Patrick Co. Virginia.

Fell in battle 1864, aged 31 years.

At the age of about 26 years, Stuart was seriously injured by attacking Asian Savages, likely a band of those known as Cherokee.

(It has often been said that the Cherokee were the “most civilized” of all the savage tribes, but even the “most civilized” savage is still a savage! Many innocent White Folks were murdered in ghastly ways that only a savage could devise, the vast majority of those innocent victims were helpless White Children.)

Upon the murderous invasion of Virginia in Lincoln’s Illegal War of Conquest, Stuart honorably resigned from the Washington Government’s Army and joined in the Defense of Liberty.

Stuart was a very savvy Army Officer, and Lee called him “the eyes of the Army”.

A Hero of the 1st Battle of Manassas, he was promoted to Brigadier General.

Horses were of very short supply for his Cavalry, so at the 2nd Battle of Manassas, he took charge of about 1,200 of the horses that Lying Lincoln had sent.

Stuart was himself of the opinion that the Washington Government’s Cavalry was ineffective and poorly commanded. His repeated victories against the invading criminals would seem to support his opinion.

(Many Historians have been of the opinion that every Officer of Intelligence and Honor had quit Lincoln’s Army and fought in defense of Freedom!)

Stonewall Jackson “Lee’s right arm” fell in tragedy by friendly fire, and Lee replaced him with Stuart, which gave him command of half the Army of Northern Virginia.

The classic song “Join the Cavalry” says in it “We’re the boys who rode around McClellan” and is a reference to J.E.B. Stuart and his Cavalry.

Brave, Heroic, and Honorable to the end!

God bless him, and all those with him!

    Deo Vindice!

Um, the Confederates had their taste of defeat.

The entire Naval campaign was lost from the start.

Do some reading on The Battle of Fort Donelson where 12,000 Confederate troops surrendered.

The Battle of Shiloh involved a full CSA retreat following a Union counterattack. The Confederates had a great offensive that stalled and allowed the Union to reinforce to the sum of 20,000+ men.

I'm with Double on this one, the CSA made a series of mistakes that were costly. Compounded by the odds, it's easy to understand why the war ended the way it did.

They did not have an Army or a Navy, what they had was guts!

    I have to respect that!

    God bless them!

"Governor, if I had foreseen the use of those people designed to make of their victory, there would have been no surrender at Appomattox Courthouse; no sir, not by me. Had I foreseen these results of subjugation, I would have preferred to die at Appomattox with my brave men, my sword in my right hand." - Robert E. Lee 1870
