I just heard on Fox news that Mexico and our Texas is on alert because of the drug cartel violence possibly spilling over here. Perry plans to send the Guard to back up the Border patrol. They should of closed those borders a long time ago. We should have went to Mexico instead of Iraq it seems.

The killings continue and they keep bringing the victims over the border to El Paso. The people know if they go to a Mexico hospital then they will die. They shoot cops daily and it is only getting worse.Juarez had over 1700 deaths last year. The Mexican president has soldiers on the streets, but they are just as corrupt as the drug cartel.

I don't see the situation getting any better, the Mexican government from top to bottom is corrupt and our leaders are afraid of hurting Mexicans feelings. :banghead:

This should be a stark reminder to Americans as to what happens when you let your society get permissive and your politicians corrupt.

We are simply seeing the America our children will inherit.

This is what happens when people give up their guns. If we give up ours, we'll end up the same here.

I feel bad for every innocent person in Mexico that is trying to survive through all this madness. Hell, I don't blame them for trying to come here by whatever means necessary to escape that hell. Of course we have plenty of our own problems to deal with without having to deal with anyone else's unfortunately.

I'm way out of my lane with this paragraph, but I think it needs saying. Both of our countries should simply declare an actual war against the drug cartels, no arrests or deals. Surrender, or we will kill you, ALL of you. It should be as simple as that. This is a serious problem that has gone on for a long time, past the point of reason.....to the point where the problem should just be killed by any means necessary. This sh*t has gone on long enough for F's sake.

If for whatever reason you flee Mexico and hope to make a life in America. Do not bring your third world craphole way of life with you. Do not trash or cities. And for God's learn the language. If you can't do at least that, I want your stinky butt on the other side of the Rio Grand.
This is not your country to destroy, right now its obama's to destroy. You might as well go back as he is much better and faster then you.

I agree with Sig Fiend, let the innocents leave the area, and take fully decked C-130's and leave no man standing. If it hurts Mexico's feelings, tough. The only thing those cartels understand is death.

I was born in the Great State of Texas but live in Salinas California. I see first hand what happens when they come to this country and take over. Last year we had 25 gangster killings in this city. So far this year we have had 6. 20 years ago we were a cowboy town, 20 years later, well, all the old burger joints are now taco stands where the gangsters hang out. I retire in a few years and I will be moving back home to Texas.

+1 Mac. People who do not live on the border and interact with Mexican Citizens who visit the US don't have a clear understanding of how bad the Mexican Government is.

It's not as simple as someone mentioned. "Have the Mexican Gov. declare war on the cartels..." the Mexican army is in the pocket of "Chapo Guzman" who if you all don't know is the head of the Sinaloan Drug Cartel who is trying to oust the Juarez Cartel and gain control of "the line".

I find it funny that whenever there is a massacre or killing the Army is no where to be seen because they were called to "investigate" somewhere else at the time.

It truly sucks to live in Mexico right now.

Unfortunately the only way this violence will subside is if the Sinaloan Cartel takes over.

Thank you mommy for correcting my paragraph. I prefer obama with a small "o"
I'm sure when the socialist hang you, they will get a tongue lashing for not using a new rope. Since missing the point seems to be your forte.
