Malcom "Kenny" Wilson was an Officer with the Austin Police Dept. for 29 years, ending his career as a Sergeant. He served over 10 years with our SWAT team as a "Counter Sniper" Team leader and trainer. I had the pleasure of training with him and learning from him there for 6 years.

He lost his battle with cancer on 3/6/09. He was a true leader and personal friend. Anyone who knew Kenny will feel his loss deeply. Kenny was one of those rare individuals who always had a smile and something positive to say and share. He ended his career supervising the "bomb squad". He had an outstanding career of serving his fellow man and influencing everyones life in a positive manner. He will be mised.

My condolences as well. I lost 2 family members to cancer in June of last year, which makes me hate cancer and feel for the families of those that suffer from it. RIP Officer Wilson and thank you for your service.
