Owner of Tactical Firearms in Katy supports online ammo ban

I've been watching this thread since #1 and I'm pretty impressed with how our members turn against a business that stabs us in the back. This thread has over 9500 views and I'm certain that many readers are like me .....too far away to do business with them anyway. Can you imagine the economic impact this thread will have on their business? 9500+ gun owners are telling that business to F off and each will speak to someone else or post elsewhere. That's brutal!

The power to do that is in our hands and in this case, it does seem justified. If what you guys say is true, this business person is no friend of mine.

Let's just make sure we're right before we drop a bomb like this.

Oh, I understood what Roger was saying and totally agree. I don't think this thread was started with any idea that it would end up going where it did. It was Jeremy and his buddies who turned it into the bomb it became.

Can't speak for others, but I first went and listened to the station's own recording of the interview, confirmed that the man did, in fact, say what he was accused of sayin' - and THEN started posting. He compounded his error, both here AND in his juvenile attempts to get "revenge" on another Texas gun owner (and LEO) by posting his PERSONAL PRIVATE information and encouraging folks to harrass him.
Unfortunately for Jeremy Alcede, MOST folks (even those on his own site) recognized the idiocy of doing so.....and, in fact, his attempt kinda backfired on him.

Yeah, what Jeremy Alcede of Tactical Firearms in Katy Texas tried to pull with CM was juvenile and at the least uncalled for in such a setting. Needless to say when I'm in Katy (hunt near there at least twice a year) I won't be spending any time or money at Tactical Firearms and Jeremy Alcede knows why.

Yes to all, also they will buy brass for $2.50 a pound last time i talked to them about selling brass (2months ago). The online only part not sure about since i can sell their ammo in a storefront.

Its 1.50 more a box for new brass instead on used.

Yeah this thread is a beast. I almost felt bad for the guy, then I read his post, then I read the quote from him and his wife and realized they're some of those business owners who look down their noses at their customer base, except the ones who spend thousands of dollars with them. There are too many gun salesmen like that in general, and several gun stores in the Houston area have already lost my business because of attitude like that.

lolz...this thread still lives...interesting enough, not a single person called me. Only members from this site called me to let me know that he posted my info which only he was priveledged to see as a "friend" setting on FB....Never thought a business would do that, especially since no such action near the equivalent was done by me.....Sad part, like many places, he'll probably have many "one time" customers......hopefully, for those of us with an interest and passion for firearms, ONLY one time...
