I wonder what the business climate will be like for this show.
I know the dealers want the frenzy to continue ~ it is good for business.
Will there be more availability than in recent past?
Will the prices be more reasonable?

I will be looking for > 308 rifles (PTR, M1a, AR10...etc) , AR 308 parts, AR15 lowers, maybe s G34 or G17L ....and any other 'deal' that may abound.

Note: I am not dumb enough to go looking for ammo. I have bunch now and have you ever tried hauling ammo away at show? I am not in shape enough for that! Especially buying in min 1K or more qty's. I will let UPS do the heaving lifting. ;)

Just got back. Very large show. Had a really good time. Weapon prices were not too bad, but ammo was insane. Saw some 380 that I paid $15 at Academy a couple weeks ago trying to ask $40 for. Didn't find any 45 ACP i was willing to pay for.

    I just got back too.

I noticed ALLOT more AR rifles and parts ~ particularly stripped lowers were EVERYWHERE ~ still priced more than I care to pay +/- $169. Lots of rifles too. I get the sense that prices will drop at the next major show at least in this area.

Ammo was available but ridiculously priced ~ kinda expected that. I didn't waste much time there.

    Handguns seemed about average.

Overall it seemed like there was plenty of merchandise and prices were overall still high. No real deals to speak of but I wasn't expecting any. I only got some cleaning stuff, some VZ grips and some dremmel parts ~ none were really deals but it hard to walk away empty handed.

I helped my buddy at his table. He was selling some handguns and .308 ammo. He sold about 10 to 15 boxes (20 ct.@$12/box) so he was pretty happy. He also sold a NIB Beretta 92 F, SS for $610. The most I saw for $380 ammo was $59/box. He'll be there tomorrow (B3) but I can't make the Sunday show.

I had a lot of fun at the show. It's freaking huge!

I did see a couple of DSA lowers for around $125 stripped. Saw an M&P rifle in 5.45 for $875. Good to see that it looks like guns are coming back down to sane levels.

Ammo was nuts! No way was I spending that kind of money on ammo - I can wait.

I think I know the guy who sold you the Dremel stuff. Was he wearing an apron that's a Texas flag and sell sonic cleaners, too?
