I have found myself smack dab in the middle of a moral dilemma. While doing a tour of Baylor last weekend with my daughter, I found a thumb drive. I picked it up and put it in my pocket with the intensions of just keeping it and using it. Since then I had thoughts of whoever lost it needing info from it, so I decided today to try and figure out whose it is, and then mail it to Baylor for them to find the kid.
So when I opened it up, I find no address or other personal info for contact. I did find several papers and support for the papers. And also a number of pictures of the guy.... with his boyfriend. Now anyone who knows about Baylor knows that gaying out is against Baylor policy. I know several former students who were gay, but its against policy.
Therein lies my dilemma. If I send it to Baylor, they will see the pics of the kids gaying out, and one or both will be kicked out, no dount about it. So as much as this kid needs this drive, I think its in his best interest that I don't send it.
What to do.........
