Theres been a lot of talk around the web lately about bad service at gun stores.. Rude workers etc..
Well i stopped by Fountain Firearms today to pick up a transfer and we greeted at the front door as soon as i walked in. Everyone was really nice and they have a lot of stuff to check out. The FFL transfer pirce was fair at $35.00 and the girl helping us showed me a few pistols. Picked up some Slings while i was at it. They had a ton of PMC 223 and Wolf 45 acp ammo in stock. I think the wolf was 15.00 a box and i didn't see a price on the PMC. Prices on complete rifles were a little high but who isn't right now. All in all it was a good fun store visit and although a little far away i think i will be taking my buisness there in the future for local purchases.

I was looking to do a transfer about 6-8 weeks ago and went in to see about getting it done at Fountain Firearms too. EXCEPT they wanted $48 and didn't seem to care when I said all of the web ads (IE: Gunbroker, etc) say they charge $35. I would have paid the $35 but ended up paying $20 from another great FFL I found (from referral here on the forum). They had a lot of items but none of the ammo was marked so I cannot comment on the pricing. However, I walked out and most likely won't buy anything from them. :(

i have never been in the Fountain B&M store, but have ordered parts for my HK from them. They had everything I needed, priced fairly (as fair as HK parts can be) and shipping was fast.
