So I was at the wally world and they just made some new policy on ammo "rationing" Apparently they had a huge brawl last night over ammo last night. Now people will have to make a line, the manager will come and check the inventory if they have ammo the area will be cordoned off and people will be sold ammo by the line number or something like that.

This is not the first time I heard about ammo brawl, so does not sound good.

So who was in that fight from here last night ?

The guy that works at the counter at my local academy was telling there was fight over ammo at his store. It was quickly defused by what he described a giant security man. He also told me that at another store it fight was so bad that they had the get the police involved.

Never underestimate the stupidity of people. If they'll trample and kill people to save $20 on Black Friday, they'll duke it out over a box of 9mm.

There's been a couple of fights/scuffles in Bass Pro in SA, also had an old lady knocked down and stepped on coming up the stairs, absolutely ridiculous. Don't worry she got helped and also gave her first crack at what inventory there was. There is a number system there for when it gets busier and the employees are tied up with other sales so as they open the doors in the morning they're letting the people outside know what in demand calibers are or aren't there and those that still want in get handed a number coming through the door and walked up the stairs so those situations don't happen again. Seems to be averaging 20-30 people waiting outside in the morning regardless of there being any ammo or not.

These are the same people screwing up the ammo supply chain. Otherwise there is ample ammo for everyone. No one needs to buy ammo everyday regardless.

Got my ration of 40 over the last couple weeks, and didn't have to get beat up for it. Us little guys have to steer clear of the violence. I'm done with the ammo search for now. Time to shoot my new 40! Then time to reload them.

I was at wallyworld for a bit of ammo if they had any and there were two boxes of 45acp. They had two boxes on the shelf.
I told the clerk I would take them both. The guy behind me said dang! I some of them.
As he started to walk off, I told him he can have a box. He tried to pay me five dollars more than I paid for them. I told him we all need to stick together on this, and just sold it for what I just paid for it.

As it turned out he was going for his chl. He happen to be getting it the same time a friend of mine was getting his.
They were talking during a break and he told my friend about some guy that sold him the ammo he was using, that the guy at wallyworld sold him the last box of ammo out of his basket for no profit.

I know this has nothing to do with the topic, and there was no bloodshed. I just thought in a time of bad news and fighting, that a little bit of good news is a welcome thing.
