Oh my bad, totally missed that range day thread, thanks for the link. I don't have my schedule yet for that weekend yet, but if I'm not working I'll definitely come out.

Southpaw, I have pretty much came to the same conclusion. Guess its time to suck it up and place an order.

Academy @ Gold Canyon as well... I have to admit it feels good to be able to once again stop by my local Academy and pick up a box of ammo again. Before this, that is exactly what I would do every other day or so. It would be nice to see a little more 5.56 but I'm not going to cry if it's just ammo for the AK's at this point.

Any ranges in SA that allow you to shoot shotgun other than at skeet.

You can shoot shotgun at the pistol area at Bexar Community (where the range day is gonna be) just ask for a shotgun target. I know Bracken has a shotgun specific area where you'd be able to shoot all the slugs and buckshot your heart desires in a loan little cutout.

Can anyone recommend a good barber in the San Antonio area? Preferably NE SA/Live Oak area but not required. I'd like to find one that I can walk into without knowing exactly what I want and have someone competent cut my hair.

I haven't found one I like completely yet. Been in the area for 3 years now. I gave up and now go to the one on Pat Booker near Randolph AFB. Reasoning is it is $10 and they have a vacuum system that keeps you clean throughout the experience. You have to tell them what you want though. I always get a high fade with #1 on the side and #5 on top.
