Barrel Recrown Houston

I want to know where and how much it would cost to fix up some songs in the crown of a brand new threaded Remington 700 here in Houston. It came damaged from the factory but it may just be easier for me to fix it myself than deal with Remington.

I live in Houston and any info would be of great help. Thanks!

Give Freer Gun shop a call and see if they will do it under warranty.

I recently dropped off a Browning for them to do some warranty work on, gave it to them on a Monday and got it back that Friday.

You could try Roberts Precision (Roberts Precision Rifles - Aaron Roberts Houston Texas Riflesmith Gunsmith). I have no personal experience with Aaron Roberts, but he comes very highly recommended from my LEO customers (specifically...Brazoria County SWAT). He does full custom builds and has done work for Marcus Luttrell's LONE SURVIVOR FOUNDATION. I have used Chris at Aquila - Custom Rifles and Gunsmith Services for barrel chopping/threading in the past. Good luck!
