While I appreciate "pruning the hedges", do it right!

Frankly, they should have just waited until the next storm hit. It would have been a more acceptable result! :banghead:

    Yup.

What I don't understand is just about 3(4?)wks ago after that big storm, the public works guys came out and trimmed trees. The crew out here today was hired by Oncor.

I guess they figured it was time to trim them. Don't get me started about the Einstein on the other side of my privacy fence yanking on the section trying to get himself over into the yard to pick up the fallen limbs. I hollered at him to get off, I don't need a broken fence too. We still don't have the damage from the last storm replaced yet and the fence wasn't hurt! We're redoing the roof.

I don't think they liked Shorts standing on her back deck with an OWB watching them work They cleaned up rather quickly and moved on.

It's amazing, utilities that trim trees of their facilities (hey, that rhymes) just cut what they need to get stuff off the lines. With the same effort, and probably get results that would keep them clear for longer, they could actually get someone that knows how to trim trees and make it look good and be healthier for the trees as well. 3 birds with 1 stone.

No kidding, curb appeal! And this is along a main drive to a city park and a boat ramp. You know, streets that will be seen by people out recreating and spending money in their city! :banghead:

Must be close to or off of Dove? Besides the marina's on that side, it's the only boat ramp I know of. We launch from the Flower Mound side.

CRS2FER4 lives around there too I think.

At the place I work (my post not the office) The power line people came out to trim around the lines. One tree was right under the line and the property manager told them to try not to butcher it. "O no we'll trim it up so it looks decent since it is in the front of the business". Yeah right! They cut a big square out of the side of the tree and left. Bone heads!
