Mine was an old Miroku Charles Daly 26" O/U choked skeet/skeet, it was almost like cheating using that gun. Biggest mistake of my life, well one of them, was selling it thinking I'd never need it again... I have since bought another with 30" barrels that I'm using for trap but I still wish I had that skeet gun, it was sweet...

Remington 1100, 28" modified with vent rib is perfection to me. Been shooting them since about 1967. The Remington 870 Wing Master with 28" Modified and vent rib is in #2 position.

I shoot a bit of skeet too. I've gone hunting only a handful of times in my life.
However, my favorite skeet gun is a Browning Citori XS Skeet in .410.
They are somewhat rare and that appeals to me.

Love my Beretta AL390. Bought the boy a 391, and its about the same. My 110 son shot that 12 guage all day on hunts. Low recoil, and nary a misfire, even with the cheapest, crappiest shells.

Belgian Browning 20 gauge humpback A5. Still kicking myself that I didn't buy it from my father in law when he sold it. I shot four dove in three shots with it. (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know - "pics or it didn't happen") I really really like my 20 gauge 870 Lightweight Special though. I've only seen one other - short barrel, English stock. It's great on quail because it's quick. When you have a covey rise and can't figure out which bird to shoot first, the lighter weight helps - plus if you're tromping around for miles it's light. lol

Ithaca Model 37. Been carrying it afield since I got it around 1970. Used it on pheasant/quail/ducks/geese in Indiana. Dove/ducks/geese in Virginia. Dove/quail in Texas. Dove/grouse/quail in New Mexico. Dove/chukar/grouse in Nevada and now about to try my hand on dove/pheasant in Montana. Lightweight, reliable, throws the shells from the bottom and is a trusted friend. I suppose like most of you who have used only one gun for decades it's all about the familiarity and relationship. I love her and she loves me :0)

Toss up: my second shotgun as a kid, Rem 1100 20ga Light, or one particular Browning Auto-5 12ga that i inherited from my father. The latter is not the most ideal for carrying afield, but i do it for the nostalgia (my dad hunted everything with an Auto-5). I just took it apart last night to switch the gas ring position to handle the light loads i'll be using next Sunday for dove opener. :)

Shotguns are probably the only guns I own I might consider selling, but don't know if I would sell that one.

If i catch you selling any of them, i will personally kick your ass. Now, granting them to me in your will, thats another story. ;)
