Let me just state that I am glad I am a procrastinator. The funds have finally been freed up for me to get my lifetime supporter mark but now I feel it is best to wait to see what happens. I was also ready to load up on shirts but again.........

I have no problem supporting the site but with new owners I want to see what direction the forum heads. When Zembonez left the classified section went to hell as far as the rules were concerned and everything still isn't fixed from the crash. I appreciate what everyone involved has done, don't get me wrong. I just feel the site is understaffed and a little neglected sometimes.

I will gladly donate if the site takes a turn for the better and becomes what it used to be. If I had any spare time I would donate that also.

Either way you're paying to help the site stay up & running, the same as any advertiser. I paid and a few days later was made a moderator and lost my green screen name! Just PM Lee or Kevin, I am sure they will make it right. From what little I've seen, they seem to be very accommodating.

No it was not a ton of money BUT principal does have a larger impact for me.

We are trying to get our head around everything that needs fixing here, sorry in advance for any delays. Of course we had to get the site moved, also we got the subforum issue fixed, as well as the poll. We also should have the Itrader issue fixed and back online in the next day or so.

I just used a paypal account that was provided after asking in a thread about donations. The title under my name was changed to forum supporter and my name was changed to a different color.

So outside of the name being changed to reflect your site supporter status, there were no other benefits?

If anyone here made a donation within the past 60 days and no longer wishes to "support" the site financially, they can PM Kevin (texcross) or myself and we can work something out. I know a transition like this can be sticky. We want to make it as smooth as possible. We have great things planned including a contest that is sure to garner some interest.

I think other than the Name color change and being able to set what it says under your name the only other benefit was increased PM storage space.

Pretty much. Donations were done out of respect rather than getting something (other than the board) in return.
