Took my two nerds, the wife and the youngest, and my oldest son to see the new Harry Potter movie.

1 - 10, I give it a 4. They should have spent less time developing Ron's lovelife. Now if he was dating Mary Jane Rottencrotch...

The Head Nerd, my wife, says the first movies were true to the books.

On a small side note, we went to the Silverado off 249. Nice place, good restaurant, cold beer. PLUS, free refills on drinks.

Even the beer? TGT Movie Night!

The Silverado is a nice theater. That's where we saw the Dark Knight in IMAX. We took the kids to see up at the Movie Tavern down off 249s and 1960? area to see Up. I really liked it. The food they serve there is reasonably priced, so you can catch dinner and a movie without being out late. YOu sit down, they hand you a menu. You eat and watch the movie at the same time. I had to sit through this yesterday with my boy.....painful, simply painful. Talk about stretching this thing out for a buck.

I did get to stop at Gander Mountain on the way home though. .45 ACP and .38 special on the shelves, hmmm, things are looking up.

    It wasn't terrible. I'd give it a 5/10.

Rather sad how predictable it was.

The action parts were good. Trying to develop their love lifes sucked. My wife didn't like it. She's read all the books and was disappointed at the lack of explanation and how it was pieced together without a storyline.

    I stopped her there.
