You can tell them one of two things: " I'm sorry about the crushing debt and how few freedoms you have today, I could have joined the TEA Party and made a difference when I was young but it's too late now." Or: "Grand-kids, I'm proud to tell I fought for Constitutional Government and fiscal responsibility so you can now enjoy the same standard of living and freedoms that I had!" Wake up and join the TEA PARTY TODAY!! Your grand-kids will thank you for it.

I'm very impressed with this resurgence of the Tea Party. We all definitely need to be active in politics. I am extraordinarily tired of the defeatist attitude I often see online.

I'm in for $25 and will look for my local Tea Party.

tea parties get co-opted as well....

conservatives and the umbrella of so called christians seem to be the most naive suckers of society as a personal observation........having said that....we must be cynical enough to instill fear into closet rinos like rubio who played us so well......so yes to keep texas blue against the tide of obamah illegals invading our republic we must get involved ..... watching the HPD not deal with dumdass-X as they blocked hwy288 show you the tremendous fight ahead.....but 4/5 guys from ar15dotcom and a few others fed up successfully recalled two Colorado statists. ...that should be a clarion call for us and an encouragement to everyone.....we only lose when we give up.....we are not created that way.....look at the fear in moabama when the public rose up....against syria.....yep we can do this.....

Do you have a better solution? I don't see how republicans or democrats will ever do the right thing. For example what part of "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" is hard to understand? I don't see either party willing to hand us back our God given rights. We have to take them back ourselves, Tea party might be the first right step.

I don't view the Tea Party as a rival to the Republicans or Democrats. I do view it as an emerging legitimate threat to the status quo. The Tea Party seems to me to be a revitalization movement that is pragmatically moving through the Republican party. I know that many within it have far more lofty ideals, but that's how I see it operating.

What we need is to make a few changes in the public school system and teach generation 'Y' and 'Z' to be more like the "silent and traditionalist generation' Or WW2 era folk. We are where we are because generation X Lacked the Necessary parental skills that are needed to Boost up an economy and Their kids future. Not all, but the Vast majority of generation x did this to the young ones. Because Our public school system dilutes our History, Not just our nations history but WORLD history in general, In turn causes us to repeat the same mistakes that been holding up back since the last world war. what we need is to learn from our history, and STOP spoiling the young ones without teaching them good work ethic.

To me it felt like the republicans tried to absorb the Tea party. I cant recall a time the republicans gave me back a God given right in my life time. I was a republican for most of my life till I figured out the system.

I think the public school system needs to go to the compost pile.

If that is your sincere conviction, that it will be easier, more effective and more realistic to stand up a 3rd party long term than to improve and change an existing party, I'll respect that although I disagree.

I sure hope it is not too late.

Nah, it's just getting good! We are counter-revolutionaries and we are getting organized and fighting back. This Colorado recall has impressed the heck out of me.

Wait a minute! I got it! Why don't we just elect a person every so often, to reflect our opinions to the higher powers that be! Then this "representer" can vote and propose bills and stuff like that on our behalf! Now if we can only get this on paper...

It begins like it did in Colorado with a recall election organized not by a political party but by dedicated every day patriots.

It is either the ballot box or the bullet box.

In States who don't have recall elections, the citizens will have to organize to defeat the Statists at the next scheduled election, and put their monitors in place to cry foul when progressive voter fraud is seen.

The antis out funded the patriots in Colorado 6-1, but the patriots won.

THAT is the point! The anti-gun movement, including Bloomturd's idiot group, blew, I've read in multiple articles, around $3 million to stop the recall. In those same articles, the pro-gunners spent around $500K to continue the recall.

The message got through to the voters. If your elected representative is NOT representing you, vote their ass out of office! This is the message we have to continue trying to get through to ALL voters in EVERY state. Stop using the "Why should I vote, mine won't count" excuse to not vote. I've heard that from many conservative voters. That's why so many libiturd candidates end up in office....apathy! Stop the apathy! Get engaged in political activism and get the message out there that everyones' vote DOES count.

Tea party is good in the mid-term elections, cause teh dumb ppl don't know when those are. Too much dumb to beat back during presidential elections though. Colorado is encouraging, but those were slim margins. We gotta do better.
