Why would a corporation donate to a political fund either way? Surely not ALL the stockholders lean one way or the other so it's not to their benefit, and it seems like contributions could alienate large clocks of consumers. If they are doing it just for a tax write off, it seems like it would make more sense to donate to an actual charity that's less controversial than political candidates.Most big corporations donate to both sides.
