Have a chance to get one of these for 300? Is that a good deal?

No, it's terrible! Now tell me where this despicable deal is located so I can go down there right now and give them a piece of my mind and $300!

Yes $300 is a great price unless the pistol is just a chunk of rust, they go for $600 new.

If it locks up tight that's a very good deal. You would be ahead by a good $100 as soon as you bought it.

Why is this guy selling it for $300 bucks???? Freaking Ruger P89's go for $350 ish.

Has 44mag gotten that expensive? 44mag was the second cal I reloaded. Same pistol. Id trim the cases down to 44special. I lost count of my personal round count with 44mag. You can load them soft. To cannon blast hot.

Separated a raccoon from his front leg with one. Flat nose cast lead. The second round crumbled him up. He was dispatched in a covert. Hollow points would have turn his insides to red mush. Cant pick out his heart from his ass type.

Deer in bowhunt range. They drop right there. This i saw a friend do.

    44mag is a hammer.

    Ruger makes tanks.

Oh, get ready. Factory 44mag kicks like a bitch. Run some "self defense" rounds through her. 6 will do you. Its cool to stop at 4. But blast atleast two.

Then buy some 44special. Itll feel like 38 special.

Let me suggest some Pacmyer grips for that beast. It makes a HUGE difference. First time I shot mine, I shot a box of 50. Had bruises on my hand. The rubber grips made such a big difference that I can shoot a box or two of just about anything with no soreness.

I loaded some 315g HPs for hunting. Good grief. That is a punishing round. You got a great deal for $300, tight or not.

I used to shoot 50 rounds of 44 mag at a time at the range. 240 gr factory soft points. It's really not that bad at all if you find the right grip that fills your hand.

i work with a guy whom is a part owner of a small gun shop. he will buy and sell to me at his cost.

    2 questions.
    1. Im wondering if the shop owner needs some 'FREE' help?
    2. Are there any job openings where you work? (so I can get to know this owner)

LOL.....I myself would jump on it! 454s, 500s,...just give me a 44. I had a 10 1/2" years ago that I sold to my brother...he still has it. One of MY bigger mistakes made involving guns. I'll get another....this time I want a SBH Bisley Model...like this one.
Just looks so intimidating!!! Bound to be a blast to shoot. (No PUN intended)

Great advice! Mine has the original grips and calling it a beast to shoot is being kind!
