Newtown, CT puts time limit on Second Amendment rights

After more than 200 hours of testimony, Newtown, CT has passed a new city ordinance against recreational target shooting, including a limitation on how long someone can shoot, and how many people may shoot at a range at a time.

The ordinance says no resident can be shooting for more than four hours after notification of the Police Department, and shooting is limited to one person at a time.

Does anyone have a brain there????

Going by the article's content, I'd have to say NO on that.......

If only they had this before Lanza went on his killing spree, it would never have happened.

The funniest part about this is Lanza probably never went to any of the local gun ranges (nor did hid mom). I remember them trying to interview people to find someone who could attest to how deranged he look firing weapons but nobody in the area ever saw him.

" Target backstops are required and must be 10 feet above the target."
Seems like a strange place to put a backstop.
Maybe the laws of physics, like the second amendment, don't apply in Newton.

    Neither does normal functional mentality

The only thing associated with "mentality" in Newtown is the running, rampant stupidity.....
