Hey all. I'm hoping some of you can help my wife and I out a little. Well, I hope you can help, without having gone through this event. We haven't, yet, either. So far, or so we're told.

The Gyno is not much of a help, or at least perhaps he really can't help right now.

It started shortly after she found out she was pregnant. She started feeling terrible cramps, non stop, with nausea. It's been consistent for most of the day, every day. She spotted a little bit, and passed tissue that looks like the miscarriage tissue that I've seen in research.

The thing is, the Doc says that tests show she's still pregnant, should be fine unless she bleeds a lot more, but can't say anything for sure until she is 8 weeks pregnant.

Has anyone gone through this? Is it normal for her to be in crippling pain and nausea to the point where she barely eats? I'm talking about a tough woman who almost never complains about anything and has to be in some serious pain to take some Aleve. In our 12 years together, I have never seen her like this. Not even when she was pregnant with out 2 girls.

I'm really worried about her as she is obviously not getting very much nutrition and has to force herself to eat for the sake of giving the baby something. I've done much research on this and everything points to a miscarriage, but the Doc says she hasn't. I just don't get it. Any help, advice, or whatever, would really help. God bless.

My wife had a.miscarriage. She'll know of she is no longer pregnant. My wife is pregnant right now and is nauseous pretty much all the time. I don't think she has the cramps like yours though. IIRC she also spotted some with our daughter. Have they hooked her up to a Doppler yet? You can buy one for around $50 on eBay and will be able to hear the heart beat. I'm not sure when the beat is audible.

Is a 2nd opinion possible? Did they just do the piss test? Or actual examin? Has she had a sonogram?

Yes, I believe it is possible and we are currently looking for someone els. This Doc was great with our second one though, so I'm hoping he's not just blowing her off. No sonogram...

...Or doppler yet. He told her that since she isn't 8 weeks, any tests would be pointless cause, I'm guessing, the fetus isn't developed?

She looked so bad today. She always has so much energy and has NONE. Totally different person. I wasn't even this bad when I was bleeding internally and as a matter of fact, I wasn't this bad 5 minutes after I was revived in 2011.

We've done our studies and are aware of the egg possible growing in the fallopian tube, but she doesn't have pain on that one side and I forgot what els, but there were some other signs that she seems to not have.

I ain't got no frame of reference, but I would find another doc if it was my spouse.

Yes, gonna do that. Or, at least get 2nd opinion. But if it's the same, we want to keep this guy. We had last minute trouble with out second and this guy helped everything to go very smoothly.

    Thank guys.

I cant contribute anything here J, but I just wanted to say that yall we be in my prayers.

Thanks Dad. I really appreciate it. As much as I am excited about our third child, and am praying for a boy, I am terribly worried about my wife. She's the glue that holds us together. I'm the goofy dad that disciplines them when they need it, but since they are well behaved, I get them in trouble with my pranks and our ruckus. She's the love and comfort and keeps this home a happy one. Thanks again. God bless.

Get a second opinion and be wary of sepsis (sp?).

Y'all will be in my prayers. Sorry you all are going through this situation.

My wife had lots of bleeding on one of ours. She had to stay in bed laying down for about 4 months. Not fun for any of us. Her's was nausea and bleeding, no cramping.

You might want to get a second opinion.

By all means get a second opinion, tubal pregnancy can show up as regular. Ocasionslly, especially if there is history of problems, those symptoms can occur. Was not uncommon for my ex to spot for several months, and the more kids we had the worse it was. But sometimes a fresh look can be helpful, if nothing else peace of mind. Best of luck, I sincerly hope everything is ok

Hello, sorry to hear about what's going on to your wife. It is common to have some bleeding in the first trimester specially the first few weeks, this could be a cause of the fertilized egg implanting in the uterus. some cramping is ok. Is she having sharp painful cramps?? Nausea is normal, this is the increase of hormones in her body. I hope all goes well, I'll will be send you guys Good Vibes!!
