Off side holster & drawing

Always wondered whats with wearing holsters on the opposite side. Right handed wearing on left side.

Are you talking about crossdraw holsters? IMO, that's the best way to carry while seated... most often used in the driver's seat. Otherwise, they are a liability for close-in work (again, my opinion).

I can see it working for me in maybe a shoulder holster. (Was looking at Kangaroo Carry with interest)

This. It is easier to remove a long barrel gun from a holster while moving that way, especially while seated.
