I have a few Mark III Rugers, 2 of them are 22/45 Targets, one of these I rarely shoot

I have been wanting one of the new Ruger 22/45 Lite models with a threaded barrel in case I wanted to get a suppressor later on
plus, I just like the looks of the gun.

I'm thinking of selling one of my 5.5 inch Target models and getting what I can out of it and putting it towards a the Lite model

has anyone had anything bad to say about the Lites?

    Cue Sugarland, come in Chuck.....

Well thaks Cam, (que Don Pardo) The two I have are very nice. I have to say you do give up some accuracy with the Lite. I believe the mechanics are the same on the Lite and the steel. The Lite's are tack driver but the steel will drive needles. My answer is buy one or two of each..Now back to you Cam....

I'll second the comment about the lite. My 22/45 is the plain jane one with the bull barrel. One time at the range, the guy next to me was shooting a lite, we swapped pistols and shot a few mags. We both agreed mine was more accurate.

it must be the lack of the heavy target crown since the Lite has to have a threaded tip
