Promags won't catch inside my Sig P6.

I bought a used Sig P6 a few weeks ago that came with one mag. Midway only had Promags in stock so I ordered 6. When I insert the Promags and push it up the gun, it feels like it catches but slides out as soon as I shoot. The factory mag works perfect and the Promags will feed if I put my hand under the mag and hold it up there. Any suggestions for fixing this besides sending the mags back?

I'd go ahead and send them back. Try and find factory mags, promags suck.

This is the first time promags failed on me. I have a few for my 4506 that work great. I was desperate to feed my P6 and figured they would work, plus I hate having only one mag.

I didn't know how scarce they would be before I bought the gun.

P6 mags are a bitch to find.

Try here. When you search also search for the p225 as well it will give better results. I have a P225 and I try to pick up mags when I can. Good luck.
