I've been without a .45 for a while, and decided it was time to do some looking at, feeling of, and studying about the currently-offered possibilities. I finally decided on the Beretta PX4 and hoped for an opportunity to shoot one before I plunked down the moola. As it turned out, good fortune came my way and I was able to shoot a PX4 not long ago. It was love at first shot!

I've since purchased one, and now have 550 rounds through it. This sweet thing is gobbling up everything that I've put to it, and the accuracy is nothing less than wonderful! Hats off to you, Beretta. You rock!

Cool deal man. It's always sweeter when you buy something on a whim and it turns out to be awesome.

That's exactly how I felt about this one:

Accuracy is scary-good... and not a single bobble of any kind!

I shot it with UMC, Winchester and Sellier & Bellot 230 grain FMJ rounds and with the Winchester, I was shooting one-ragged-hole groups at 20 yards!

I also shot it with a variety of JHPs, ranging from 165 gr Pow'r Ball to 200 grain Blazer and it was most accuarate, in my hands, with the heavier bullets. It shot the Winchester 185 grain Silvertips better than the 165 grain (including Federal Personal Defense) bullets, but the 200 grain CCI loads were the most accurate... 2" at 20 yards.

Overall, I am happy as a pig in..... whatever makes pigs happy to be in.

    Ah, yes!

I well know how great a pistol the Ruger P345 is! I had one for a good while, really loved it, especially that nice slim grip. But a coworker wanted to buy it from me REAL bad, and I sold it to him.

And in its place, I'm now nuts about my new Beretta PX4. What a wonderful firearm! ;)

    Larry,

I never thought I would ever read that you owned anything that did not have the Ruger name or at least the phoenix emblem somewhere on it. I understand those Beretta's are some good shooting guns. If I get near SA anytime soon i'll hollar and mabey we can meet up at the range and do some shooting together. Hows the SP doin these days??

Take care and God Bless my friend

    Hey there, Mike!

This PX4 .45 is rapidly turning into my favorite pistol! I took my oldest daughter and one of my grandsons out yesterday to shoot it, and some other guns. We had a wonderful outing together. I'll bet you would enjoy shooting it. If you get over this way, please give me a shout and we'll see if we can get together.

The little SP-101 that I bought from you sends its regards. ;) I had it out a couple of weeks ago, letting a friend shoot it. I think he's decided to get one. I really enjoy that weapon, it being a gun that I frequently carry concealed.

All the best to you and yours!

    OK, I'll hush...

After putting a couple hundred more rounds through it with no failures of any kind, I can say with certainty that I've never been happier with a gun purchase than with this PX4 Storm 45. The more I handle it and shoot it, the more thrilled I am with it! An absolutely incredible firearm.

    Over and out.

Beretta's are GREAT. Thta is all I owned for a while. Never had any problem with them - thousands of rounds later.
