Only managed to shoot this stuff out to 15 yards, but here it is - the Federal Tactical #1 Buckshot ammo with the FliteControl wad that everyone seems to want:

S'good stuff; low recoil, patterns well.

If you can post pics at 25 yards after you shoot again. Fed should have called that round, "turkey shoot special". I wonder what it do out a 26" barrel...hmmmm

Andy, when ordering online, do you know how to ensure that the Federal buckshot you're getting has the FliteControl wad? Or does all Federal "Tactical/LEO" buckshot have it?

Wow, good question - I don't know. A friend of mine gave me a few boxes - and of course I've already thrown them in the trash :(

Buckshot size does not mean what you think it does!

A Federal #1B pellet is only .285" in diameter and 33 grains in weight. Barely 495 grains total . Fifteen #1B of the "nominal voluntary standard" .30" diameter would weigh over 600 grains.

Are those pellet weight based on lead or copper? If your numbers are lead, then this Cu plated stuff would be lighter.
